Prior to Broad Avenue and Gordon Pass Group, Karen had a long career in the financial services industry. Most notably, Karen served as a Director for Deutsche Bank and was featured as a keynote speaker across the US and in Europe at financial services conferences and symposiums. Karen developed expertise in contract structure and the annuities industry leading to her founding and eventual sale to Morningstar of Advanced Sales & Marketing.
In addition to her professional endeavors, Karen serves as the Vice Chair of the Women’s Foundation of Collier County, an organization dedicated to the empowerment of women and girls through grantmaking, advocacy and education. Karen previously served as President of The Crisis Center for South Suburbia in metro Chicago, Illinois, a shelter serving abused women and their children. Karen has a bachelor’s in liberal arts from DePaul University and continues to maintain her designation as a Certified Financial Planner®.
